I'd come at it from the other direction, that *if* someone says they won't comment anymore, and then does, they are demonstrably a hypocrite, or at least contradicting themselves, and can be called out directly. No need for vague assertions about such behaviour which may have no basis in fact whatsoever.

I know i've said that I won't actively follow the programme, but that I won't turn off the radio when The Archers is on either, so in practise I end up hearing two or three eps a week, more than once or even twice on occasion. I've also never said I wouldn't post on this board. There was an imbecilic suggestion a few days ago that it somehow wasn't fair that people who *don't* listen should post here. I guess they could post non-spoilers about the programme, like forum.downsizer.net/post-1049791.html#1049791

The 'agent provocateurs' are to be expected. I don't think it's paranoia, so much as a realistic expectation that the production team wouldn't miss a trick in drumming up support in their times of need from friends and aquaintances. With friends and aquaintances like those, though...

Since then, the OP has posted another thread (which was 'properly' hidden, and therefore traceable), presumably in protest at the removal of the first...

Why am I paying licence fee money to the BBC who then use it to gag female presenters who have suffered discrimination only then to be bought off and gagging clauses implemented. The BBC hierarchy is made up of ex Oxbridge / public school ponces whose only interest is furtrhering their own career.
We also get told that the BBC is committed to equality and diversity, so how come the DG was appointed without "open competeition" and dimilarly James Pernell was recekntly "slotted" into a job that was noit advertised.
The whole place stinks of nepotism and hypocracy...................
