Feel a little guilty because I reported this one (off topic, since the subject is feedback, not arguing about other people's feedback, but sauce for the goose, eh?). It'll probably be restored:

I note, with glee, that the chief catpeer (Deputy Dawg, of course) is now having his own posts catpeed.

That website is disturbingly satisfying...
Sadly, I've been AFK since around 9, and missed a few moderations. It almost occurred to me that I might have a good word to say about DD, because at least he pops up to give a clue about why a post has been modded, but then I realised he just wants to let people know that he's responsible for it's deletion. Pride definitely going before a fall...
One of the things that has popped up occasionally in the discussions on those two blog entries is that people always complain about new designs. It's a common occurrence, certainly, but my recollection is that when the iPlayer was revamped, most people thought it was an improvement. I don't, therefore think that the BBC's defenders can seriously argue that the backlash against the Home Page is anything like a typical reaction to change. I hope that they accept that soon.
Maybe it'll be all over by Christmas?

At 1431, I now notice it says, 'All this user's posts have been removed'. In my experience, that either means that that user has pissed DD off royally, or been caught re-registering under a new name after being banned before, which is not unknown when bans are handed out so casually. What a bell-end Reynolds is.

This has to be one of the best so far! What is the world coming to when the BBC starts to moderate itself? This has been under further consideration for quite awhile. Pure class

I understand Radio4Extra is soon to include a new Sherlock Holmes mystery "Double Identity and the House Rules", Deputy Dawg being played by Fred MacMurray and Barbara Stanwyck taking the role of Muriel. Sheriff Stone makes a guest appearance, as does The Rivera Kid as Darth Vader reincarnated with a lobotomy. (BBC_Five got banned from the programme audition on the grounds that he was impersonating somebody important.)

Well, I guess that's it for now (that's 'well' as in 'well', not short for 'Wellwisher). I wasn't there at the end because I had to attend a public meeting about the threatened library closures at 7. I suppose I should look up what the complaint options are, re telephone, email and snailmail, to have ti all in one place, unless anyone else wants to put that up. Have to force the kids into bed and maybe watch some TV first...
